How do I confirm my order/accept my quote?
For orders under $2,000.00 full payment is required
For all orders over $2,000.00, Catering Wholesalers require a 50% deposit to accept a quote with the balance paid prior to dispatch
How can I make payment?
Direct deposit to our bank account listed at the bottom of all quotes/invoices
Master card or Visa (note 1.5% surcharge applies to all transactions)
EFTPOS or cash
Cheque accepted but 3 working days must be allowed for funds to clear
Do Catering Wholesalers have finance or leasing options?
Catering Wholesalers do not offer finance to customers. However we can provide you with the relevant contact details for your requirements. Refer to our Finance Options TAB for further details
Is delivery included in the product price quoted?
Not unless specified. However, Catering Wholesalers can supply reasonable freight charges upon request regardless of destination
What does the delivery charge rate include?
Unless otherwise specified we charge you a standard delivery fee which is easy access/street level delivery only. It does not include any carrying upstairs, positioning, insurance or installation.
Can I choose a future delivery date?
Yes. Your 50% deposit means will hold your order for a maximum period of six (6) weeks. You will however need to give Catering Wholesalers one (1) week's notification prior to delivery as well as final payment being made.
Can I pay for my product when delivered?
No. Catering Wholesalers do not have their own transport company and use external companies for deliveries both local and interstate.
Can I specify a delivery time?
No. Most deliveries are done during standard business hours between 8am-4pm Monday to Friday. You can always request a preferred time but this cannot be guaranteed.
Is insurance included in freight charges?
Insurance for goods in transit is not included in the freight price. If insurance is required by the purchaser it must be arranged by the purchaser either direct with the nominated carrier or their own insurance agent
What do I do about damaged delivered goods?
Check all items before signing for them and if obviously badly damaged in transit do not accept delivery. Take pictures if possible and contact Catering Wholesalers immediately by fax or email listing your name, address, contact number/s our invoice number and details of the problem if no pictures supplied.
When will stock be available?
We endeavour to keep our most commonly sold items in house for customers to view and take with them depending on payment method. If an item is not in house it needs to be ordered from the manufacturer and most can be delivered in 1-5 working days depending on availability and location.
Custom made products availability ETA will be advised upon acceptance of a quote.
How long is warranty period?
This will depend on the manufacturer of individual products. Generally warranty period for new products is a minimum 12 months parts & labour.
